Deap Vally Announce New Album Marriage, Share “Magic Medicine”: Stream

Deap Vally have announced their new album Marriage, due out November 19th via Cooking Vinyl. The LA-based duo also shared the lead single “Magic Medicine” as a preview. The upcoming full-length spans 12 tracks and saw Lindsey Troy and Julie Edwards collaborating with KT Tunstall, Peaches, and Jennie Vee. AFI released the new album Bodies in June, but the veteran rock act is already back with new music. Brandi Carlile has made it known she would love to tour as the singer of Soundgarden should the opportunity arise. During an appearance on the Rolling Stone Music Now podcast to promote her new album In These Silent Days, Carlile said she “would make the time” to serve as the grunge band’s singer. “I am such a Chris Cornell fan,” the singer-songwriter said about Soundgarden’s late frontman. “I loved him so much. Mark Hoppus has announced he is cancer free. The Blink-182 member was diagnosed with 4-A diffuse large B-cell lymphoma earlier this year. After five months of chemotherapy, he completed treatment earlier this month. Dave Grohl has lent his Foo Fighters throne to Seattle metal bassist Darin Wall, who heroically stopped a gunman from entering a venue in early September. Wall and his band Greyhawk were playing a show in Boise, Idaho, when an armed individual, 26-year-old Ethan Byrd, attempted to enter the venue. Wall pushed the gunman to the ground and was shot in the leg. Police apprehended the shooter, but the bullet is still in Wall’s leg.
