Comedy Central Pulls Workaholics Episode Featuring Chris D’Elia Playing a Child Molester

Comedy Central has pulled a Workaholics episode featuring the disgraced comic Chris D’Elia from the show’s library on Hulu, Amazon Prime, and the network’s own website and streaming app, as Slashfilm reports. The episode in question is “To Friend a Predator” from the debut season of Workaholics which originally aired on May 25th, 2011. In the episode, D’Elia plays a character named Topher, an alleged child molester that lurks a Justin Bieber fansite. Clearly, not a good look for the network given the recent allegations made against D’Elia. As Slashfilm points out, the network has also comple...

MultiChoice Adds Netflix and Amazon Video Prime Streaming for Subscribers

Image sourced from The Vanguard Nigeria South African tv dish satellite operator MultiChoice will soon be adding both streaming services Netflix and Amazon Prime Video to its DStv platform. This comes as the pay-TV operator continues to show growth in the market, adding roughly another 900,000 DStv and GOtv subscribers over its last financial year. Now, the company seems set to add another swathe of subscribers to its already robust base of 19.5 million users, according to its latest financial results. By adding these two international streaming services to its existing platform with DStv, MultiChoice seems set on continuing its mission as a “super aggregator” – a tactic used by other pay-tv pla...

That’s why each month Consequence of Sound puts together a full list of new TV and film titles being dropped into the thick of it. June 2020 is kind of meh. There aren’t many new titles, per se, though there are a number of sleazy and sticky popcorn classics. You know, like Hard Rain, or Double Jeopardy, or 2 Days in the Valley. All great trash to consume. What’s more, those who miss Jordan following The Last Dance can check out Space Jam. Saturday Night Fever is worth a boogie. And there’s also not one, not two, but seven goddamn Leprechaun movies to binge. Check out the entire list below and start stocking up on some snacks. To help round out your streaming sessions, be su...
