The 2023 BAFTA TV Awards have arrived, and as the stars of the small screen celebrate the best of British and international TV in London's Royal Festival Hall, it's the red carpet that has our undivided attention. The sun came out in the capital just in time for some of our favourite celebrities to show off their glamorous style, and we have high expectations. Hosted by Rob Beckett and Romesh Ranganathan, the ceremony itself is sure to bring with it a more comedic feel than some of the previous shows we've seen over award season. Ncuti Gatwa’s BAFTA Red Carpet Outfit Is a Glimpse Into His New “Doctor Who”
Following an outpouring of support from friends and fans for becoming the next “Doctor Who”, Ncuti Gatwa arrived at the 2022 BAFTA TV awards in a sleek, co-ordinated set that was fit for the “Whoniverse”. Designed by Nigerian luxury brand Orange Culture, Gatwa’s head-to-toe black outfit was a refreshing take on Afrofuturism. Although Gatwa has great red carpet style, his BAFTAs look was a welcomed departure from the tailored suits and luxe silk shirts of his “Sex Education” era. With buzzy titles like “Bridgerton” and “Derry Girls” added to her accolades, Nicola Coughlan is well-versed in dramatic, red carpet style. Following the star’s pink-and-black Richard Quinn gown at the Met Gala, Coughlan continued her love letter to the colour pink with a voluminous, hot pink Valentino gown for the 2022 BAFTA TV awards red carpet. Coughlan’s gown featured a smocked hemline and oversize bows along the sleeves.
