Barack Obama Hilariously Flames The Knicks In Upcoming ‘Desus & Mero’ Interview

Source: NBC / Getty President Barack Obama’s recent appearance to promote his book A Promised Land on Showtime’s Desus & Mero looks nothing short of hilarious in the clip that’s currently circulating on social media.  The video starts off showing the former POTUS walking into the room feeling overdressed in the presence of the casually outfitted Daniel “Desus Nice” Baker and Joel “The Kid Mero” Martinez.  If you look closely, the pair wore special edition boots from their new Timberland collection.  Jokingly, Mero teased that they were ready to take the interview to the basketball court before Obama promptly reminded them of the time they played against New Jersey Senator Cory Booker last year.  [embedded content] “Let me just say that I saw some of the footage of y...

Barack Obama Says He Made “Mistake” by Not Giving Dolly Parton Presidential Medal of Freedom

Former President Barack Obama has said it was a “mistake” and a “screw-up” that he did not give Dolly Parton a Presidential medal of Freedom. The self-reflection came during an appearance on The Late Show with Stephen Colbert. In a wide-ranging conversation that covered the drone program, Obama’s frustrations with his failure to close Guantanamo Bay, and whether DQ Blizzards are better than Wendy’s Frosties, Colbert introduced a new segment called “Questions We’re Pretty Sure Barack Obama Has Never Been Asked Before.” The segment proved to be surprisingly challenging. When Obama was asked “What goes in a toaster?” He responded, “toast,” and received a scolding from Colbert. “Bread goes in the toaster. Toast comes out.” While the President’s head was still spinning, Colbert hit him wit...

Joe Biden picks diverse team of top economic advisers

President-elect Joe Biden named former Federal Reserve Chair Janet Yellen as his Treasury secretary nominee on Monday, and named three women to other top economic posts, setting the stage for a more diverse White House. While Biden’s transition to the presidency on Jan. 20 appeared to be hitting its stride, he himself was hobbling after fracturing his foot while playing with his dog on Saturday and will wear a protective boot for several weeks, his doctors said. The incoming administration has been hampered for weeks by Republican President Donald Trump, who has refused to concede to Biden, a Democrat. Trump has said without providing evidence that the Nov. 3 vote was fraudulent, claims that state and federal election officials have dismissed. Biden named leading members of an economic tea...

The US on Friday announced economic sanctions on Chinese and Russian companies that Washington said had supported the development of Iran’s missile program. The sanctions, imposed Wednesday, were against two Chinese-based companies, Chengdu Best New Materials and Zibo Elim Trade, as well as Russia-based Nilco Group and Joint Stock Company Elecon. “We will continue to work to impede Iran’s missile development efforts and use our sanctions authorities to spotlight the foreign suppliers, such as these entities in the PRC (China) and Russia, that provide mi...
