Anne-Marie and Doja Cat know that your formative years have their ups and downs, but that’s just what what it’s like “To Be Young.” In the new collaboration, the female duo paint a glittery daydream of youth straight out of a coming-of-age movie. “Fall in love, broken heart / Break the rules, drink too much / We’re all a mess, but I guess / This is what it feels like to be young,” they belt in the anthemic chorus. DJ Khaled and Drake Team up for ‘Popstar’ and ‘Greece’: Listen

DJ Khaled doesn’t do b-list collaborations. The Miami emcee and music man tapped none other than Drake for his latest work, which spills out over two tracks, “Popstar” and “Greece.” It’s all part of a big plan for the We the Best chief, who this week revealed the title of his forthcoming 12th studio album, Khaled Khaled, due out later this year. Drizzy and Khaled go way back. The hip-hop megastars worked on the track “I’m on One,” which peaked at No. 1 on the Billboard Hot 100 in 2011. The Prince Estate Drops Unreleased Track ‘I Could Never Take the Place of Your Man (1979 Version)’

The Prince Estate partnered with Warner Records to drop the previously unreleased song “I Could Never Take The Place Of Your Man (1979 Version)” today (July 16). The track will be featured on the upcoming expanded reissue of the late pop star’s iconic ninth album Sign o’ the Times this fall. Prince originally recorded the song, which layers his voice nine times, in Studio A at Hollywood Sound Recorders on May 23, 1979 during sessions for his 1979 self-titled sophomore album. He retrieved it from the vault and re-recorded it in 1986 with a guitar solo and updated sound that made its way onto the 1987 album, which peaked at No. 6 on the Billboard 200. Café Tacvba announced as headliner for next year’s edition. Ruido Fest 2020 has officially canceled this year’s edition due to the COVID-19 pandemic. “We’re very disappointed that we won’t be celebrating with you this summer, but the progress of the COVID-19 pandemic means that our primary focus is everyone’s health and safety,” organizers of the Chicago independent festival said in a statement. As coronavirus cases continue to surge across the country, Ruido Fest is moving to Aug. 20-22, 2021, with Café Tacvba announced as a headliner for next year’s festival. Mickey Madden of Maroon 5 has taken a leave of absence from the band, according to several published reports. The bass player steps away from the Los Angeles pop-rock outfit just weeks after his arrest for alleged domestic violence. “I have some things that I need to deal with and address right now and so I have decided to leave Maroon 5,” Madden said in a statement to Rolling Stone. “During this time,” the statement continues, “I do not want to be a distraction to my bandmates. I wish them the absolute best.” As previously reported, Madden was arrested on June 27.
