Beyoncé Renaissance Collaborators Include Jay-Z, Drake, Pharrell

Hours after Beyoncé unveiled the track list for her upcoming album Renaissance, Apple Music has published the album credits, which reveal a host of superstar songwriting collaborators such as Drake, Jay-Z and Pharrell Williams. Beyoncé’s husband Jay-Z is credited on the songs “Alien Superstar,” “America Has a Problem” and first single “Break My Soul,” while Drake is among the collaborators on “Heated.” Williams and his longtime producing partner Chad Hugo appear to have worked on the song “Energy,” while Raphael Saadiq lent a hand on “Cuff It” and “Pure Energy.” Also making contributions on Renaissance, which is due July 29, are Mike Dean, The-Dream, Nova Wav, A.G. Beyonce Reveals Renaissance Tracklisting

In just nine days, Beyoncé will be releasing Renaissance, her first proper solo album since 2016’s Lemonade. Today (July 20), the pop icon revealed in an Instagram Story that the album will contain 16 songs, including first single “Break My Soul,” a ’90s dance jam featuring Philly rapper Tierra Whack. Featuring provocative titles such as “America Has a Problem” and “Alien Superstar,” the track list from the Instagram Story didn’t reveal who (if any) guests artists would be featured on the album. TikTok users let out a collective scream of joy today (July 14) with the news that Beyoncé has finally joined the social media platform. The artist’s entire catalog, including her recent hit single “Break My Soul,” is now at the disposal of TikTok’s billions of content creators, who have wasted no time adding her music to their videos. In her debut post, the artist compiled 62 seconds worth of Beyoncé-related content from fans around the world, writing, “Seeing y’all release the wiggle made me so happy! Last Monday, Beyoncé unveiled “Break My Soul,” the first single off her first proper solo album since 2016’s Lemonade. In an Instagram post on Thursday, the pop icon unveiled the artwork for the album. As you can see below, Beyoncé isn’t holding anything back. Perched atop a shiny, silver horse, the scantily clad singer has her eyes on something in the distance. The post is captioned with “act i,” which could mean that there’s more on the way from the singer.
