While on vacation in Mexico, the award-winning Empire actress, and Washington, D.C. native showed off and showed out in a series of photos of her donning a bikini. Henson, who just turned 50 on Sept. 11, has apparently been working out and aging in reverse as evidenced by a number of sultry shots from the sands of Cabo. In one of the photos, which appears to be a fun-filled girls trip, Henson is shown sipping on a bit of bubbly and again showing off the hard work in the gym. The Trent President Muhammadu Buhari on Wednesday felicitated with elder statesman, Alhaji Bamanga Tukur, on the occasion of his 85th birthday. This is contained in a statement by his Special Adviser on Media and Publicity, Mr Femi Adesina, in Abuja. Judas Priest’s Rob Halford, Foo Fighters’ Dave Grohl, Black Sabbath’s Geezer Butler, Jack Black and several more artists are featured in a new compilation video honoring singer Ronnie James Dio. The late metal icon would have turned 78 years on Friday (July 10th). Court adjourns suit challenging Akindele, others’ conviction
Reuters A Federal High Court in Lagos on Friday adjourned until July 21, to hear a suit challenging the legality of the conviction of Funke Akindele, her husband, Abdu-rasheed Bello, and 236 others. A Lagos-based Lawyer, Mr Olukoya Ogungbeje, had approached the court seeking a declaration that the law upon which Akindele and others were convicted was inconsistent with the 1999 constitution. Recall that Akindele, a popular actress; Bello, and others were arrested, tried and convicted for violating the Lagos State Infectious Diseases (Emergency Prevention) Regulations 2020.
