Celebrating a decade of groundbreaking events, Brownies & Lemonade has released a specially curated megamix. B&L tells us they asked their “most important artists over the last decade” to create 10-minute mixes. The brand then integrated each to produce “10 for 10,” a massive mix spanning over 100 tracks that defined the last decade for EDM.com’s Best Event Organizer of 2022. Beloved in the electronic dance music community for their curation of once-in-a-lifetime, creator-driven experiences—like Wonderland’s laundromat rave and Holo’s elevator pop-up—B&L soared to new heights this year. In order to meet the moment, B&L sought the help of Alison Wonderland, Louis The Child, GRiZ, Madeon, ISOxo, Jai Wolf, Wuki, What So Not, Wax Motif an...

San Holo‘s latest performance was different on so many levels. The beloved guitarist and dance music producer recently lifted spirits in an elevator, DJing at a miniature rave for one of the more exclusive crowds we’ve seen. It all went down (sorry, can’t help these puns) in Los Angeles over the weekend. The performance was organized by esteemed electronic music event organizer Brownies & Lemonade. It was the latest in their “B&L Pop Up Series,” which places artists in unconventional locations for impromptu DJ sets. Other pie-in-the-sky performances include one from Whethan at an abandoned zoo and another from Moore Kismet in a train yard. Holo rinsed a bevy of his hits in the elevator, like the ageless future bass banger “Light.” B&L s...
In the midst of a bona fide breakout year, ISOxo has announced a potentially career-defining move. The esteemed EDM.com Class of 2022 member will helm a stage takeover at HARD Summer, where he’s bound to shock and awe with his patented “Nightrealm” experience. The takeover, which takes its name from ISO’s breathtaking Nightrealm EP, will go down on Saturday, July 30th. It’s a double whammy for the young bass music virtuoso, whose hotly anticipated appearance at HARD Summer also marks his first-ever music festival performance. The takeover of the festival’s Corona Stage will offer his second DJ set of the night after his official debut earlier on the Green Stage, where he’s promised an appearance from an “incredibly special guest....
Lions and tigers and bears… and Whethan? Whethan recently DJed at an abandoned zoo in L.A., where he threw down for a surprise pop-up show. A police helicopter eventually showed up, but not before the prodigious “Savage” producer’s untamed performance, which showcased his new sophomore album MIDNIGHT. The performance was organized by Brownies & Lemonade at the Old Los Angeles Zoo, which they called “one of the wildest locations” they’d ever been for a show. It was the latest in the esteemed promoter’s “B&L Pop Up Series” following a sun-kissed DJ set by GRiZ at L.A.’s Dockweiler Beach in early April. Thanks to pie-in-the-sky sets like these, Brownies & Lemonade, who were named EDM.com‘s Best Event Orga...
