CDQ Fires Burna Boy For Allegedly Disrespecting Obafemi Martins
Two-time Grammy nominee, Burna Boy has been called out by talented Nigerian rapper, CDQ for allegedly disrespecting former Nigeria international, Obafemi Martins. The award-winning rapper who did not disclose what led to the disagreement between the former Super Eagles striker and African Giant warned him never to disrespect the talented footballer. He further stated that Burna Boy should not be moved by people calling him “African Giant” while he disrespects Obafemi Martins whom CDQ said his, not their mate. A popular blogger identified as Cutie_Julls on Microblogging platform, Twitter, on Monday disclosed that award-winning Nigerian singer, Burna Boy attacked former Super Eagles Striker, Obafemi Martins at a club. Naija Music recalls that talented rapper, CDQ called out Burna Boy who is popularly known as African Giant for disrespecting the former Nigerian International. CDQ in a post on Twitter had noted that the former Super Eagle striker is not their mate, hence the need for Burna Boy and his boys to respect him. Cutie Juls in his post noted that Burna Boy and his boys confronted Martins at a club and ordered him to prostrate to one of his boys for disrespecting him. Sia is back with a remix of “Hey Boy” that features Burna Boy, which comes from her forthcoming eighth studio album Music – Songs From And Inspired By The Motion Picture. She also shared the tracklist from the 14-cut release. This single follows the release of other tunes, including the original version of “Hey Boy,” “Courage to Change,” “Together” and “Saved My Life.” This new effort will be the pop star’s follow-up to 2018’s collaboration album with Labrinth and Diplo. The LP drops Feb. 12 via Monkey Puzzle/Atlantic. It comes with a feature film, which will have a special IMAX release next month. Nigerian singer Yonda is the underrated individual behind the trending songwriting scandal between Burna Boy and Davido. Earlier we reported that fans of Burna Boy and Davido are raising dust after a new recording of Burna Boy singing Davido’s ‘Intro’ surfaced online. Fans of Burna Boy alleged that Burna Boy is the original owner of the song before Davido took it and later released it.
