Burna Boy, Asake to perform at Coachella 2023
Nigerian music superstars Burna Boy and his colleague Asake would be performing at the forthcoming Coachella 2023. The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival is returning this year and there is a stellar lineup of music stars. The newly published list of artistes for the music festival shows Asake and Burna Boy made the count. Asake would be performing on the first day and first weekend of the event while Burna Boy would be performing on the second day. This would be Burna Boy’s second time of rocking the Coachella stage at Indio California. Still on the list we spotted Ghanaian music star Black Sherif who would be performing on the same day as Asake. The headliners of Coachella this year are Justin Bieber, Bad Bunny and Frank Ocean. Burna Boy explains why he showed up late for his Lagos concert
Self-titled African Giant, Burna Boy has spoken hours after a disastrous outing for his Love Damini concert in Lagos, Nigeria. In the early hours of Monday 2nd January 2023, Nigerians who attended Burna Boy’s concert took to Twitter to complain about his lateness to come on stage. The singer showed up at around 3:30 am in the morning after fans waited over 7 hours to watch him perform. The “Last Last” hitmaker did not just show up late but cursed his fans who booed him for late coming. He said, “na God go punish una” while he was on stage as the crowd booed. There was also a video where he kicked a fan in the front row. With all the bad PR from the concert, the singer has spoken up to clear the air. He took to Instagram to give an explanation for how the concert in Lagos turned out. ...

Grammy award-winning Nigerian singer Damini Ogulu better known as Burna Boy has cursed his fans during his new year concert in Lagos. Burna Boy took the stage at his Lagos concert pretty late and the fans were not happy about it. However, Burna Boy was did very little to pacify the angry fans as he began a rant of his own. He said the fans have always been disrespectful and have said many untrue things about him but he still shows up for them like he has done. He went on to say, “if you no love me, make God punish you”. While he was ranting, the fans booed him from the crowd. However, he went on with the show as he gave a solid performance regardless.
