Here’s How Ultra, EDC and Other Music Festivals Impact Airbnb Prices

Many of us have experienced the immense frustration of attempting to book travel accommodations for a massive music festival. But how much extra are we spending in comparison to those who travel to the same destinations on any given day? For WHIPPED CREAM, it’s always been about bangers. “Light of Mine”? Banger. “So Thick”? Banger.  With a track record like this, it’s no surprise that her latest single, “CRY,” is also—well, you get it. A mind-bending fusion of midtempo, electronica and hyper-house, “CRY” is out now via Monstercat. Kicking off with eerie chords and haunting vocals, “CRY” quickly sets the scene for a tale that twists and turns with tension. “You won’t hear me cry,” its lyrics chant. An eerie bassline slowly creeps under the surface until the track’s cathartic drop, akin to a pitch black soundscape with menacing sound design. “It’s about having no tears, words, or energy left to give...

Inside the Sale of Coachella’s Lifetime Passes and $1.4 Million NFT Collection

Coachella, one of the world’s most illustrious and profitable music festivals, recently announced the launch of three NFT collections: Sights and Sounds, Desert Reflections, and Coachella Keys. The festival’s three collections offer a range of digital photos, soundscapes, and posters that can be redeemed for real-world experiences. Perhaps the most significant, however, is the Coachella Keys collection. Each of its 10 collectibles grant their owners lifetime passes to Coachella. Afte...
