South Park Announces Hour-Long Pandemic Special
If you were wondering what a couple of smart-mouthed assholes think of 2020, wonder no longer: South Park has announced a new hour-long episode addressing the novel coronavirus. “The Pandemic Special” airs Wednesday, September 30th, at 8 p.m. ET. Season 23 came to an end in December of last year, and “The Pandemic Special” kicks off Season 24. As with each of the hundreds of previous episodes, it will be written, produced, and edited by Trey Parker and Matt Stone. A trailer for the special episode is out now, and while Stan, Kyle, and Kenny are expected to be present, the season opener seems to be driven by the show’s agents of chaos, Randy and Cartman. CAN accuses Niger government of not honoring agreement to employ CRK teachers

Edo election: FRSC deploys 1,500 personnel, 35 vehicles
The Federal Road Safety Corps (FRSC) said it had deployed no fewer than 1,500 of its personnel to provide security during the Sept. 19 Edo governorship election. FRSC Corps Marshal, Dr Boboye Oyeyemi, disclosed this in a statement by the Corps Public Education Officer (CPEO), ACM Bisi Kazeem, on Tuesday in Abuja. Oyeyemi said the deployment of the personnel became neccessary because of the heightened concern of political violence during the Saturday’s election. Nigerian striker tests positive for coronavirus
Few days after opening his goals account for the season, Nigerian forward David Okereke has tested positive for coronavirus. Okereke’s Belgian team Club Brugge in a short statement on their official website on Tuesday confirmed the positive status of their Nigerian forward. The club wrote: “Attacker David Okereke took a positive Corona test this morning. US eases China travel warning, citing virus progress
The United States on Monday eased its warning against travel to China, acknowledging that the nation had made progress against Covid-19 despite frequent US criticism of its pandemic role. The State Department still urges Americans to reconsider travel to China, but it upgraded its advice from a blanket warning not to go to the country. The Nigeria Centre for Disease Control (NCDC) has reported 160 new infections of COVID-19 in the country, bringing the nation’s confirmed cases to 56,177.
