‘Someone is trying to kill Davido’ – Kemi Olunloyo alleges
Controversial Nigerian journalist Kemi Olunloyo alleges that someone is trying to kill pop superstar Davido. Shortly after the well publicised fight between Davido and Burna Boy, Nigerian journalist has reported that the 30BG leader’s life is endangered. In a series of tweets, Kemi said ‘someone is trying to kill Davido‘. She also added that the only person who knows what transpired between the two popular Nigerian artistes in Ghana is already dead. Kemi also referred to a post made by Davido, where the singer said he is not afraid of heaven. She asked the ‘Fem’ crooner to stay in doors and also reach out to the Nigerian police authority to ensure his safety. Nigerian superstars, Wizkid and Burna Boy, dominated the night at the just concluded Mobo Awards 2020. Wizkid bagged the Best African Act while Burna Boy received the Best International Act. Newsmen report that the awards stopped but later came back after a three-year hiatus as organizers announced on November 24 the nominations for the 2020 Music of Black Origin Awards. For the few years Nigerian pop superstar Davido has been taunted that he his voice sounds like that of a frog. This comparison comes when Wizkid subtly fired shots at Davido and since then the frog comparison has stuck. Even rival fans have often use the frog metaphor to diss Davido.
