Nollywood filmmaker, Jeta Amata, has continued to express concern concerning the whereabouts of his ex-wife, Mbong. The filmmaker took to his Instagram page on Thursday to express some worry at Mbong’s disappearance. He also uploaded screenshots of the last chat conversation he had with the actress before her “disappearance.” He wrote: “I wonder when you all would realize how serious this is. Gunmen abduct APC caretaker committee chairman in Rivers
The Rivers Chapter of the APC has announced the abduction of Hiasine Wiye, the Caretaker Committee Chairman of APC in Khana Local Government area of the State. He was kidnapped in his residence on on Sunday evening, according to the party in a statement issued in Port Harcourt by its Spokesman, Ogbonna Nwuke. He expressed dismay at the abduction of a grassroots member of the party. Police recover decomposing bodies of two missing children in Delta
Police have recovered decomposing remains of two missing children, Kelvin Izakpa (10) and Fega Izakpa (7) inside an abandoned car in Abraka community of Delta State. The children, sons of late Meshach Izakpa were staying with their mother before their disappearance. The Acting Public Relations Officer of the Command, DSP Bright Edafe, who confirmed the recovery said the corpses were found in an abandoned Honda car. The car with registration number AG 815 BKW was parked at the house of one Eniku Aghogho Tayo. Tayo has been arrested while the abandoned vehicle that has also been impounded. Police detectives in the Delta State Police Command have arrested members of a money ritual syndicate who abducted, killed and mutilated the body of a 39-year-old woman while on her way back from a farm at Obiarukwu in Ukwani council area. The prime suspect in the murder of Joy Osameze, identified as Emmanuel Ejibe (18), who is said to be the nephew of the deceased, supposedly masterminded the crime and led other gang members to lay an ambush for her while returning from Abraka Farm Reserve. 43 Nigerian Navy personnel wanted for desertion
Sundiata Post The Nigerian Navy, NN has released names of its 43 personnel who are currently wanted for desertion. A circular containing the names and photographs of the deserters is displayed at the Navy Headquarters in Abuja. The public with useful information that could lead to the arrest of the fleeing officers are requested to report to the nearest Naval facility or Police station. The circular also mandated all Navy Personnel with information on the whereabouts of the 43 personnel to arrest them or be dealt with as an accomplice. Although no reason was given for the disappearance of the officers, it was gathered that most of the deserted officers were serving on Naval Vessels and ship on foreign missions and absconded when the ship berthed in countries in Europe.
