According to reporting, Jason Jackson aka 03 Greedo is set to be released from prison this week. The information was based on a filing by the Texas Department of Criminal Justice, which was shared by reporter Jeff Weiss on Twitter Sunday night (Jan. 8). On Saturday during a music festival, Drakeo was fatally stabbed backstage in Los Angeles as investigators are still seeking answers. According to The Los Angeles Times and several other outlets, Drakeo the Ruler, given name Darrell Caldwell, was among several acts at the Once Upon A Time In L.A. concert featuring headliners Snoop Dogg, 50 Cent, and Ice Cube among others. Drakeo the Ruler, Influential L.A. Rapper, Dies at 28

Drakeo the Ruler, the influential and prolific Los Angeles rapper who is known for his deadpan flow and dark humor, has died at the age of 28. A rep for Drakeo the Ruler confirmed to SPIN the news of his death, but declined to share any further details. As the Los Angeles Times reports, there was an incident backstage at the Snoop Dogg-curated Once Upon a Time in L.A. festival at the city’s Exposition Park. At around 8:40 pm PST, the Times reported that a person was stabbed in the neck backstage, who we now know was Drakeo, and was rushed to the hospital. The festival promptly ended after the incident. Source: @IamMRMOSELY / Twitter If there’s one good thing that has come out of the 2020 Election cycle, it’s Drakeo the Ruler’s prison release.  The South Central rapper accepted a “sudden” plea deal from the Los Angeles District Attorney’s office on Monday after serving more than one year behind bars.  Drakeo, born Darrell Caldwell, was found not guilty of murder and attempted murder in July 2019.  Unfortunately, ties to his Stinc Team rap group kept him behind bars awaiting trial for criminal gang conspiracy and shooting from a motor vehicle.  However, the rapper was offered a sudden plea deal offer for time served after L.A.
