On Thursday morning, Queen Elizabeth II died at the age of 96 at Balmoral Castle, her estate in Scotland. She had ruled for 70 years, the longest tenure in history. When Duran Duran‘s John Taylor and Simon Le Bon co-inducted Roxy Music into the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame in 2019, the pair’s reverent, insightful speeches were informed by their own personal experiences with the Bryan Ferry-led band.
