As COVID-19 restrictions ease, music companies are welcoming back employees with a wide range of healthy perks to lessen the stress of returning to the office after two years of working from home. Warner Music Group and publishing arm Warner Chappell offer staffers massages, reiki sessions and even sound baths in their Los Angeles, New York and Nashville offices, as well as complimentary lunches and smoothies. Baristas also man coffee stations to encourage face-to-face conversation and collaboration among returning workers who may have only seen each other over Zoom for months. Dexter‘s Michael C. Hall isn’t a name you’d typically find on EDM.com. But the award-winning actor is also an accomplished musician and the lead vocalist of Princess Goes to the Butterfly Museum, an electronic rock band he fronts alongside keyboardist Matt Katz-Bohen and drummer Peter Yanowitz. The trio have now released a remix of their debut, “Ketamine,” which originally aired during an episode of Dexter: New Blood. The remix was created by Brandon Bost, a prodigious music producer and audio engineer who Hall called “the fourth member of our band” in a statement provided to EDM.com. Nicki Minaj and Coi Leray have joined forces for their new single “Blick Blick.” On the track, the rap duo delivers back-to-back verses in a high-energy performance. “I’m about to put some Louis seats inside my Lambo,” Minaj raps. “You know you bad when you can pose from any angle.” The new song arrived with an official music video showing the two rappers dropping bars in a bright pink set.
