Abraham Quintanilla, the father of the late Selena Quintanilla, shared that a new album from the Queen of Tejano will drop next month. As per CBS, Quintanilla told Latin Groove News that the record will include 13 songs that her brother, A.B. Quintanilla, worked on. “Selena’s been gone 26 years now,” he said. “It’s amazing how fast time flies… What amazes me, and Suzette, my family, A.B., is that 26 years later and the public still remembers Selena. They haven’t let go of her. They’re waiting for a project like this to come out, and I know it will be well received by the public.” The Queen of Tejano’s father also revealed that the album will be “unique” as it is comprised of recordings from a 13-year-old Selena reworked to make it sound like she was 23 years old, her age when she was kille...
Mixmash Records is making dance music dreams come true this Miami Music Week. Miami Music Week (MMW) is among the biggest celebrations of the year for electronic dance music enthusiasts, and with the festivities finally returning after two years off, party organizers and artists are ready to make up for lost time. Mixmash, Laidback Luke‘s flagship record label, has remained a staple of MMW, and we suspect that won’t be changing anytime soon. Returning to South Beach for a poolside takeover, Mixmash’s party is already boasting some serious potential. Soon it’ll be time to party the day away at the Nautilus Hotel with Luke, Audien, Morgan Page, Riggi & Piros, Sevenn, Syence, Tritonal and more, but that’s just the beginning. Consistent with prior ...
It’s come to light that Grimes and Elon Musk secretly had another child. And the name isn’t quite as strange as their first baby—but still strange. In an exclusive interview with Vanity Fair, Grimes revealed that she gave birth to a new daughter in December 2021. Born via a surrogate, her name is Exa Dark Sideræl Musk, and nicknamed “Y.” Grimes also said that her and the Tesla CEO plan on having more children “We’ve always wanted at least three or four,” she said. Grimes and Musk, who separated in September 2021, aren’t technically “together” at this time, but the former considers the latter her partner. “We’re best friends,” she told VF. “We see each other all t...

Coming out of Down To Mars‘ studio in downtown Los Angeles, N8NOFACE has dropped a new music video for “On My Side.” Preparing fans for the release of his album Homicide, the video includes bloody visuals and a deranged facial expression for a shocking effect. Despite the video’s hardcore look, the upbeat quality of N8NOFACE’s voice makes “On My Side” a true springtime anthem for freaks, by freaks. Directed by Bobby Astro, the music video opens with N8NOFACE randomly stroking a bunny on an average workday in L.A. He repeats the chorus, which is simply “It’s a homicide, homicide, homicide/ On my side, on my side, on my side,” in a voice that’s equal parts relaxed and charged, like an old-school punk. The synth-driven song raises questions about loyalty and the extreme measures that one migh...
