Benny The Butcher Drops Visuals To “10 More Commandments”

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Johnny Nunez / Getty It’s been 25 years since Biggie passed away and left hustlers with a “Do’s and Don’t” list in the classic Life After Death cut, “10 Crack Commandments.” Now Benny The Butcher is taking it upon himself to add 10 more rules to the hustler’s manual and comes through with the visuals to “10 More Commandments” in which he pays much homage and respect to the Notorious B.I.G. while blessing block huggers with more instructions on how to go about their business. Starting off at 20 with “count the money” and working his way down to 10, Benny drops some gems that should be common sense but are often overlooked such as “don’t ever burn the plug” and “no social media posting.” Dudes really do be burning plugs and bragging on social media though. ...

HipHopWired Featured Video Source: Araya Doheny / Getty So, we’ve all heard of “catfishing” on the internet, but is there such a thing as “spouse-fishing?” Apparently, there is. Baby Phat mogul Kimora Lee Simmons was a victim of “spouse-fishing” committed by her estranged ex-husband, Goldman Sachs banker Tim Leissner. “Tim testified under oath Tuesday he pretended for years to be his then-wife, Chinese heiress Judy Chan, and sent fake emails to his future wife Kimora when they began their relationship,” TMZ reported. Related Stories Basically, Leissner created a fake email account posing as Chan so he could convince Simmons he wasn’t a whole married man while he was trying to shoot his shot. Listen to KDrew and Skye Holland’s Spellbinding House Track, “Needed You”

After his latest dance music masterstroke, KDrew has once again reinforced his standing as one of the scene’s most versatile producers. Today, the virtuosic DJ and electronic music producer unveiled “Needed You,” a gripping house track featuring Canadian singer-songwriter Skye Holland. Holland provides a stunning topline here, which floats atop KDrew’s anthemic production with a wispy cadence. In “Needed You,” KDrew turns back the clock to the 2010s, when electro and progressive house reigned supreme. He tightropes the wire between the two, interpolating dark reece bass and eerie arpeggios in the verses. Classic, soaring trance leads then take hold in the bridge, which ultimately builds and culminates in a gripping drop. Here, KDrew chops up an...

Lupe Fiasco and Gucci Mane Are Selling Tickets to Their Upcoming Concerts as NFTs

The producers behind Fortress Festival have launched DeFy Tickets, a new NFT blockchain ticketing platform. Available to United States ticket buyers, DeFy offers digital smart tickets that can be bought and sold as NFTs on the Polygon Blockchain. The platform offers safer and more interactive options for fans to purchase tickets. DeFy’s creators stress that no knowledge of NFTs and blockchain is needed to attend events or buy tickets.
