After his induction into EDM.com‘s Class of 2022, LODATO is keeping his foot on the gas with “Dreamer,” teaming up with Janice Robinson to reimagine the 90’s classic. LODATO’s version of “Dreamer” beautifully pays homage to the original, which was recorded and released by Italian house music group Livin’ Joy in 1994. Robinson has lent her signature vocals, helping capture the nostalgia of “Dreamer” while providing a new-age dance feel. It’s ultimately an electrifying refresh, which moonlights as an ode to Robinson’s impact on dance music. “Growing up I loved the original ‘Dreamer’ from the ‘90s and always wanted to give it a fresh take,” LODATO said in a press st...
Remember designing your dream home as a kid? You’d replace all the stairs with slides and create the ultimate entertainment room. And despite the improbability of having an indoor pool and a giant movie theater screen in the same space, the decisions just felt right. Looking back, it’s enough to smile all over again at the idea of what happens when there’s seemingly no limitations other than one’s imagination. In many ways, Shaq’s Fun House, a relatively new staple of Super Bowl Weekend, similarly seeks to subvert the conventional expectations of what a dance music event should look and feel like by delivering on multiple experiential fronts at once. On its face, fans can certainly see Fun House shows aren’t short on raw talent. Thi...

What am I going to do with boy? He’s an actor, he’s in a wheelchair on the Disney Channel.’ I’m like, ‘Boy, I don’t know how to make this work out.’” Drizzy eventually signed with Lil Wayne in 2009, “Once again, I just wasn’t seeing past what I se...

Nilüfer Yanya has shared a new single from her forthcoming album Painless. It’s called “The Dealer,” and you can check it out below. “When I was writing this song I was thinking about the transient nature of life and the cyclical nature of the seasons,” Yanya said of her new single in a press release. “I find it interesting how we attach certain memories and feelings to different seasons and tend to revisit them time and time again, yet our lives move in a more linear motion and even when we feel like we are going back we never really get to go back anywhere. Musically speaking it’s a bit more playful and relaxed.” Yanya has shared a string of singles from Painless, starting with “Stabilise” in November. She’s also issued “Midnight Sun” and “AnotherLife.” Painless arrives Friday (March 4) ...
