MGM-owned cable network Epix has announced a new documentary series called Women Who Rock, Deadline reports. Women Who Rock will reportedly include interviews with Kate Pierson of the B-52s, Nancy Wilson of Heart, Mavis Staples, Aimee Mann, Tori Amos, Tina Weymouth of the Talking Heads and Tom Tom Club, Chaka Khan, Pat Benatar, Sheila E, Macy Gray, Rickie Lee Jones, and more. The four-part docuseries will be executive produced by journalist and and former Pitchfork editor Jessica Hopper, menswear designer John Varvatos (who converted CBGB into a store for his brand in 2008), Derik Murray, and Rachel Brill. The chart-topping music producers, who teamed up back in July 2019 for the global dance hit “Takeaway,” returned to the studio and are now working on new music. Both ILLENIUM and The Chainsmokers took to social media to share the news. Porter Robinson will soon descend on one of the nation’s most beloved concert venues for a massive headlining show. Today he announced a concert at Colorado’s Red Rocks Amphitheatre, where he’ll host a special edition of his “Nurture Live” tour on April 1st. The iconic open air venue is celebrated for its natural acoustics, which are made possible by two giant monoliths flanking its seating area and stage.
