Halsey Announces 2022 North American Tour

Halsey has announced a tour of the United States and Canada that begins this spring. PinkPantheress, Beabadoobee, the Marías, Abby Roberts, and Wolf Alice are set to join the run at various points in support of last year’s If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. The dates begin in Florida in May before wrapping in July in California. See the full schedule below. After issuing If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power in August, Halsey delivered an hour-long visual counterpart and later appeared on a fall episode of Saturday Night Live. Blues Drummer Sam Lay Dies at 86

Blues musician Sam Lay died Saturday (January 29), his record label Alligator has confirmed. The Chicago Sun-Times reports that Lay was experiencing heart problems, was taken to a nursing facility near his Chicago home, and died shortly after arriving.  Lay, a member of the Blues, Jazz, and Rock & Roll Halls of Fame, helped bring Chicago blues to a rock and roll audience. A virtuosic player, he was renowned for his “double-shuffle”—a distinctive drum beat based on the double-time hand-clapping he would hear in church as a child—and memorable fashion sense, often see donning a cape and cane. Halsey Announces 2022 ‘Love and Power’ Tour Dates

Halsey has officially announced their 2022 Love and Power tour dates in support of their recent album, If I Can’t Have Love, I Want Power. The headline run is set to kick off on May 17 in Palm Beach, Florida and will see them perform in areas like Nashville, Cleveland, Toronto, Phoenix, Dallas, Atlanta and festivals such as Governors Ball and Hangout. Joining Halsey as their supporting act are Beabadoobee and PinkPantheress for the May 17 to June 8 dates, then The Marías and Abby Roberts from June 16 to July 9, with Wolf Alice temporarily replacing The Marías at the Hollywood Bowl on June 21.
