Doja Cat is on a mission through space in the new music video for “Get Into It (Yuh)” directed by Mike Diva. In the visual, aliens have kidnapped the singer’s cat and it’s up to her to go and rescue it. Joined by a quick-moving space crew, Doja Cat fends off the aliens’ attacks with a dance montage and walks victorious away with her precious pet cat. The track, produced by Y2k, comes off of the singer’s 2021 album Planet Her. Last month, she released a music video for another one of the LP’s singles, “Woman,” starring Teyana Taylor. Planet Her recently set a new record as the first album from a female rapper to spend six months in the top 10 of the Billboard 200 chart. Rihanna wears a pink jacket in the candid photos, unbuttoned to showcase her stomach, and a colorful jewel cross chain. In May, A$AP Rocky expressed his adoration for the singer, calling her the “love of my life,” and his desire to one day be a father in an interview with GQ. “I think I’d be an incredible, remarkably overall amazing dad,” he said. “I would have a very fly child. Universal Music Group veteran executive Mike Alexander has been named the general manager of Island Records, the label announced today (Jan. 31). Based in New York, Alexander will report to new Island co-CEOs Justin Eshak and Imran Majid.
