Doja Cat is on a mission through space in the new music video for “Get Into It (Yuh)” directed by Mike Diva. In the visual, aliens have kidnapped the singer’s cat and it’s up to her to go and rescue it. Joined by a quick-moving space crew, Doja Cat fends off the aliens’ attacks with a dance montage and walks victorious away with her precious pet cat. The track, produced by Y2k, comes off of the singer’s 2021 album Planet Her. Last month, she released a music video for another one of the LP’s singles, “Woman,” starring Teyana Taylor. Universal Music Group veteran executive Mike Alexander has been named the general manager of Island Records, the label announced today (Jan. 31). Based in New York, Alexander will report to new Island co-CEOs Justin Eshak and Imran Majid.
