The man who appeared as a nude baby on the cover of Nirvana’s album Nevermind has refiled his lawsuit claiming that the iconic image violated child pornography laws, less than two weeks after it was dismissed by a federal judge. Citing a blown deadline, the judge dismissed the case last week, but he gave Spencer Elden – the now-30-year-old man featured on the 1991 album cover – “one last opportunity” to refile his lawsuit “if plaintiff still wishes to pursue this action.” On Wednesday, attorneys for Elden did so, once again accusing the band of breaching federal child pornography laws by using “a lascivious exhibition of Spencer’s genitals” for commercial gain. “The focal point of the Nevermind album cover is Spencer’s genitals and pubic area,” Elden’s attorneys wrote in the new complaint,...

Spoon have announced U.S. tour dates in support of their forthcoming album, Lucifer on the Sofa. After a one-off concert in February at California’s Santa Ana Observatory, the tour formally kicks off April 6 at Boston’s House of Blues. The shows will bring Spoon across the country before wrapping up June 4 at Phoenix’s Van Buren. They will be supported by Margaret Glaspy and Geese. Find the dates below. Country singer Maren Morris has announced a new album. It’s called Humble Quest and it’s slated for release on March 25 via Columbia Nashville. Her follow-up to 2019’s Girl spans 11 tracks in total and includes her recent single “Circles Around This Town.” Lyrically, according to a press release, Humble Quest documents Morris’ journey to redefine humility during the pandemic while juggling motherhood, an upended career, and the death of her friend and collaborator Michael Busbee. The album was produced by Greg Kurstin and written by Morris alongside her husband Ryan Hurd, Julia Michaels, Jimmy Robbins, Natalie Hemby, Laura Veltz, and Jon Green on Busbee’s piano.
