Rap icon and groundbreaking television producer 50 Cent has released the official audio for his POWER spin-off series FORCE, titled “Power Powder Respect” – featuring Lil Durk and Jeremih. On the hypnotic track, 50 and Lil Durk trade rap verses detailing the perils of hustling, run-ins with the law and the ultimate attempt to make a living at all costs. The road to The Chainsmokers‘ fourth album, TCS4, is officially underway after the duo announced the release date for a new single called “High.” The Chainsmokers’ Drew Taggart and Alex Pall have baffled fans this week by appointing doppelgängers to promote the new music, sharing a series of tongue-in-cheek videos on their TikTok. Muni Long jumps from No. 7 to No. 1 on Billboard‘s Emerging Artists chart (dated Jan. 15) to become the top emerging act in the U.S. for the first time, thanks to her breakthrough single as a recording artist, “Hrs and Hrs.” The song, which she released in November via her own Supergiant Records, soars 83-34 on the Billboard Hot 100 with 11.5 million U.S. streams (up 89%) and 3,500 downloads sold (up 81%) in the week ending Jan. 6, according to MRC Data. The Weeknd has released an expanded version of his new album. Dawn FM (Alternate World) is out today, January 12, and offers listeners two new songs. The Weeknd tapped Swedish House Mafia for a remixed version of the album’s second single “Sacrifice.” The artist first collaborated with the Swedish supergroup in October on the song “Moth To A Flame” off of their forthcoming LP Paradise Again. The song now also listed on the Dawn FM (Alternate World) tracklist. The reworked “Sacrifice” makes greater use of its sampling of Alicia Myers’ 1981 single “I Want to Thank You” and arrived with a music video that showcased a voguing dance sequence. Ben Marc Announces New Album Glass Effect, Shares New Song: Listen

London-based jazz musician Ben Marc—the alias of Neil Charles—has announced his debut solo LP Glass Effect with a new song called “Mustard.” The album is due out this spring via Innovative Leisure. Check out “Mustard” below. Marc says Glass Effect was influenced by Four Tet, Bonobo, Machinedrum, DJ Shadow, Madlib, and his time in the nightclubs of Ibiza. He released the album’s first two singles “Give Me Time” and “Way We Are” last year. Marc released the Breathe Suite EP in December. Marc has previously performed with Sun Ra Arkestra and the Ethiopian Jazz pioneer Mulatu Astatke. Evan Rachel Wood Documentary Discussing Marilyn Manson Abuse Allegations Added to Sundance 2022

Today (January 12), the Sundance Film Festival announced a new slate of films to premiere during its 2022 season. Among them is the first act of Phoenix Rising, a two-part documentary about the life and career of Evan Rachel Wood, that will also chronicle the abuse allegations she made against Marilyn Manson last year. According to a report by Variety, the film (directed by Oscar-nominated documentarian Amy Berg) has been in the making for over two years. Following its Sundance premiere, both parts of the film will air on HBO “in the coming months,” as Variety points out (a release date was not revealed).
