Charles Koppelman, former music executive and Martha Stewart chairman, died on Friday (Nov. 25). He was 82. A cause of death was not given at the time. His son, showrunner Brian Koppelman, announced the loss on his social media, saying, “I’ll write more about my dad, Charles Koppelman, when I can. But the only thing that matters is how much I loved him. Mount Westmore Drops Second Single “Free Game”
Mount Westmore, the West Coast rap supergroup comprised of Snoop Dogg, Ice Cube, E-40 and Too $hort, have debuted their second single, “Free Game.” Clocking in at almost four minutes, the new track hears the four OGs deliver messages of Black ownership and self-empowerment and other life lessons they’ve had to learn themselves. It also arrives with an accompanying music video directed by Cam Busby, which shows the group successfully pulling off a heist. “Free Game” is set to appear on the supergroup’s upcoming debut album Snoop, Cube, 40, $hort, which drops on December 9 with a total of 16 tracks. According to reports, Canadian rapper, singer, actor and model, Kris Wu, has been officially sentenced to 13 years in jail. Back in 2021, the former member of the K-pop boy band EXO faced allegations of predatory behavior before being formally arrested by police in China. Kris Wu Sentenced to 13 Years in Chinese Prison for Sex Crimes
HONG KONG — Chinese-Canadian pop star Kris Wu was sentenced to 13 years in prison for rape and other sexual offenses, a Chinese court said on its official Weibo account on Friday (Nov. 25). The Chaoyang District People’s Court in Beijing said that from November to December 2020, Wu, also known as Wu Yifan, raped three women at his home when they were under the effect of alcohol. Wu was sentenced to 11.5 years for rape and 22 months for “assembling a crowd to engage in promiscuous activities” in July 2018, according to the Weibo post.
