Trent Reznor on Desire to Bail on Twitter After Elon Musk Takeover: ‘We Don’t Need the Arrogance of the Billionaire Class’

“Embarrassment,” offers Trent Reznor when asked for his take on Elon Musk’s Twitter takeover. The Nine Inch Nails frontman and Oscar-winning composer (with longtime partner Atticus Ross) has a sizable 1.6 million following, even if he doesn’t tweet all that much. Nonetheless, he’s ready to say goodbye for good. “I’m about to depart. We don’t need the arrogance of the billionaire class to feel like they can just come in and solve everything. Even without him involved, I just find that it has become such a toxic environment. For my mental health, I need to tune out. I don’t feel good being there anymore.” He’s not alone in weighing his future on the platform. Stars who have logged off for good in the days since Musk’s Oct. 28 acquisition of the company include Alex W...

She also joked, “Mom, I finally found a man.” Gazing at the Oscar statue, she added, “I know you wanted him to be a nice Jewish boy, but it’s really hard to tell.” Cher presented Warren with the award and stayed close during Warren’s acceptance speech. Phony Stark aka Elon Musk To Reinstate Donald Trump On Twitter, White Power Twitter Praises Lord Cheeto’s Return

HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: OLIVIER DOULIERY / Getty The moment most everyone, with common sense, feared has arrived. Billionaire troll Elon Musk said on Saturday (Nov. 19) that he would be reinstating Donald Trump to the platform. The decision is only the latest, eyebrow-raising move from Musk, who purchased Twitter in October for $44 billion after trying for months not to purchase the social media app. Since his purchase, Musk has fired thousands of employees and has inspired thousands of resignations—all while throwing cold water on the theory that billionaires must be sound business people. So it shouldn’t be a shock that musk would move to reinstate Trump, who was infamously booted from the app back in January 2020 thanks to his rhetoric that inspired the January 6 Insurr...

Elon Musk reinstated Donald Trump’s account on Twitter on Saturday (Nov. 19), reversing a ban that has kept the former president off the social media site since a pro-Trump mob attacked the U.S. Capitol on Jan. 6, 2021, as Congress was poised to certify Joe Biden’s election victory. Musk made the announcement in the evening after holding a poll that asked Twitter users to click “yes” or “no” on whether Trump’s account should be restored. The “yes” vote won, with 51.2 percent. “The people have spoken. Trump will be reinstated. Government Officials Reject “Fugitive” Billy McFarland’s Plans to Return to The Bahamas

After Billy McFarland’s release from prison, the Bahamian government isn’t open to considering second chances for the disgraced Fyre Festival founder. McFarland wasted no time scheming his plan to return to The Bahamas. He recently took to TikTok to cryptically tease the details of a so-called scavenger hunt, “PYRT,” which rapidly morphed into the groundwork for a nebulous follow-up to 2017’s disastrous Fyre Festival on the island of Great Exuma. It didn’t take long for the Deputy Prime Minister of The Bahamas, Chester Cooper, to catch wind of McFarland waiting in the wings. In a statement obtained by TMZ, Cooper spelled it out for McFarland, whom he referred to as a “fugitive,” that Bahamian locals have not forgotten how they were left holdi...
