Diddy has officially created the largest Black-owned cannabis company, spending $185 million USD to acquire several licensed cannabis operations in the United States. The Bad Boy Records founder purchased Cresco Labs, the No. 1 U.S. wholesaler of branded cannabis, and Columbia Care in the states of New York, Massachusetts and Illinois, and will be the country’s first minority-owned and operated, vertically integrated multi-state operator upon closing. Duran Duran Reveal Andy Taylor’s Cancer Diagnosis During 2022 Rock Hall Ceremony

Duran Duran performed at the 2022 Rock & Roll Hall of Fame induction ceremony Saturday (November 5). After being inducted by actor Robert Downey Jr., lead singer Simon Le Bon read a letter from founding guitarist Andy Taylor, who was not present during the celebration. Dave Chappelle to Host SNL Next Week with Musical Guest Black Star

Saturday Night Live has announced Dave Chappelle will host the show next week (November 12), with a reunited Black Star (Yasiin Bey and Talib Kweli) serving as the musical guests. The last time Chappelle hosted the show was November 2016, the week after the U.S. general election. At that show, Chappelle implored the audience to “Give Trump a chance” in his monologue; he later expressed regret, admitting “I fucked up.” He would go on to win the Emmy for Best Guest Actor in a Comedy Series for the speech—his first.
