Kurt Vile & The Violators were the musical guests on the latest episode of Late Night With Seth Meyers. They performed “Hey Like a Child” from Vile’s latest album, (watch my moves). Earlier in the show, “Weird Al” Yankovic and his doppelgänger Daniel Radcliffe stopped by to chat with Meyers about their new pseudo-biopic, Weird: The Al Yankovic Story, in which Radcliffe plays the star role. Everything But the Girl Say They’ve Made Their First Album in Over 20 Years

Everything But the Girl have said that they have completed a new album and will release it in spring 2023. Tracey Thorn and Ben Watt shared the news on Twitter yesterday (November 2), adding that more details would follow soon. The new record will be their first under the Everything But the Girl name since 1999’s Temperamental, which they reissued in 2020. Though the duo quietly came to an end in 1999, Thorn and Watt, who are married, occasionally worked together as Thorn released a string of solo records and Watt ran his Strange Feeling record label. Thorn has also released four memoirs since Temperamental, the latest being last year’s My Rock ’n’ Roll Friend, partly about her friendship with Lindy Morrison of the Go-Betweens. Los40 Music Awards are a wrap. The 2022 edition of the ceremony took place Friday (Nov. 4) live from the WiZink Center in Madrid. The fan-voted awards, produced by the Los40 radio station, were broken into three categories: Spain, International and Global Latin. The artists among the top nominees of the night were Rosalía, who was up for best album (Motomami) in the Spain category and Bad Bunny, who was nominated in the Global Latin category for best album (Un Verano Sin Ti) and best song (“Titi Me Preguntó”).
