Watch the Strokes Meet the Moldy Peaches in New Meet Me in the Bathroom Clip

A new teaser video has been released for Meet Me in the Bathroom, the documentary film chronicling the history of the New York music scene of the early 2000s. The movie is based on Lizzy Goodman’s 2017 book of the same name and features never-before-seen footage of bands such as the Strokes,  the Moldy Peaches, LCD Soundsystem, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, Interpol, TV on the Radio, and others. Today, film distribution company Utopia has shared new footage from the documentary. Miss Grit—aka New York–based, Korean-American musician Margaret Sohn—has announced their debut album, Follow the Cyborg. The follow-up to last year’s Impostor EP arrives February 24 via Mute. Holly Herndon Covers Dolly Parton’s “Jolene” Using AI: Listen

Holly Herndon has released a new cover of Dolly Parton’s classic ballad “Jolene,” recorded with artificial intelligence. The AI cover was created with Herndon’s deepfake “twin” Holly+, which allows other people to sing in the electronic composer’s voice. In this instance, a modified score of “Jolene,” comprised of new harmonies, was fed to Holly+ and then generated in Herndon’s voice. Accompanying the voice is Ryan Norris on guitar. Listen below. Amazon Music Now Offers 100 Million Songs to Prime Members

Amazon Music will expand its ad-free offering for Prime members from 2 million songs to more than 100 million songs, the company announced on Tuesday (November 1). Takeoff Reportedly Shot and Killed in Houston

Migos member Takeoff has reportedly been shot and killed in Houston. According to TMZ, the 28-year-old rapper and Quavo were playing dice at 810 Billiards & Bowling Houston when an altercation took place. An unknown person open fired and hit Takeoff either in the head or near the area, and he was pronounced dead on the scene. As many as two other people were supposedly shot and taken to a hospital, but their conditions remain unclear. Quavo himself was not injured. Meek Mill took to social media to tease his freestyle over Ice Spice‘s viral hit, “Munch (Feelin’ U).” The 19-second Instagram Story hears a snippet of the rapper’s take on Spice’s track, keeping the song’s famed “You thought I was feelin’ you?” line in tact.
