Adidas Ends Partnership With Kanye West Over Antisemitic Remarks

Adidas has ended its partnership with the rapper formerly known as Kanye West over his offensive and antisemitic remarks, the latest company to cut ties with Ye and a decision that the German sportwear company said would hit its bottom line. “Adidas does not tolerate antisemitism and any other sort of hate speech,” the company said in a statement Tuesday. “Ye’s recent comments and actions have been unacceptable, hateful and dangerous, and they violate the company’s values of diversity and inclusion, mutual respect and fairness.” The company faced pressure to cut ties with Ye, with celebrities and others on social media urging Adidas to act. Lil Uzi Vert Announces 20-City Headline Tour for 2023

Lil Uzi Vert fans will be pleased to hear that the artist will be making his long-awaited return on March 2023 for a 20-city, cross-country tour produced by Live Nation. The last time Uzi appeared for a headlining tour was in 2018 for “The Endless Summer Tour” which spanned 32 cities. The announcement comes following the release of his Red & White EP earlier this summer featuring tracks such as “FOR FUN,” “I KNOW,” and “SPACE CADET” as well as an experimental two-minute single “Just Wanna Rock” this month. Arctic Monkeys Surprise Release Live Concert Film

With their latest album The Car officially released, Arctic Monkeys surprised fans with the debut of a new live concert film. Shot at the King’s Theatre in Brooklyn, the 45-minute performance heard the Sheffield band play cuts from their latest full-length effort, along with some fan favorites such as “Crying Lightning,” “505,” “Brianstorm” and “Do I Wanna Know,” all released between 2007 and 2013. The four-piece is set to hit the road for an expansive tour in 2023; the band will make their way to Australia in January, Europe and the UK from May to June and North America from August to September.
