In a press release issued on Wednesday (Oct. 19), the company announced that the veteran actor, comedian, and writer will be the host of a new series, Oh Hell No…With Marlon Wayans. The show will air exclusively on Wayans’ Facebook and Instagram pages beginning on Wednesday, Oct. 26. The show will feature Wayans challenging a few of his celebrity friends to confront their fears in virtual reality, using the Meta Quest 2 headset to totally enhance the experience. Shortly after suffering a fall that resulted in bruised ribs, Post Malone sustained yet another injury during his latest Twelve Carat Toothache Tour stop. AMC Networks announced their commitment with the HFC, which formed in April of this year as a contemporary edition of the Harlem Cultural Festival of 1969, which was chronicled in the Academy Award-winning documentary produced by Ahmir “Questlove” Thompson of The Roots, Summer of Soul(…Or When the Revolution Could Not be Televised). The aim of the new group is to revitalize and celebrate Harlem much as the original festival did.
