After announcing the new Gangsta Grillz mixtape last month, Snoop Dogg and DJ Drama on Monday unveiled the official cover art for I Still Got It. The artwork features a blue film reel filled with images of both Snoop and West Coast scenery, alongside lettering reading the project’s title next to the larger Gangsta Grillz emblem. “C. Amid learning that BTS will go on hiatus until 2025 in order to complete South Korea’s mandatory military service, fans can look forward to new music from band member Jin. The artist will be dropping a new track, entitled “The Astronaut,” at the end of this month. According to a statement published on Weverse, BTS’ management company HYBE said that the single “expresses Jin’s fondness for his fans, ARMY” and “is meant to be a gift for the fans.” Label Big Hit Entertainment also shared a promotional schedule for “The Astronaut.” A poster for the song will be published on Thursday morning ET time, followed by two concept photos on October 23 and October 24, respectively. Ahead of the release of their new album The Car later this week, Arctic Monkeys have dropped off a new track, dubbed “I Ain’t Quite Where I Think I Am,” alongside a music video directed by Ben Chappell and Zackery Michael. Jay-Z has reportedly filed a lawsuit against Bacardi, his partner on the cognac brand D’USSÉ. The rapper and Bacardi have been 50-50 co-owners of D’USSÉ since 2011 and Jay-Z has promoted the cognac over the years, frequently name-dropping it in his tracks. According to documents obtained by TMZ Hip Hop, lawyers for Jay-Z’s company SC Liquor are demanding transparency surrounding D’USSÉ. The lawsuit “says it needs all books and records, the location of all warehouses storing D’Usse barrels, bottles and accessories, as well as all info regarding Bacardi’s physical inventory and its inventory process,” TMZ reported. Destroyer has released a new song called “Somnambulist Blues,” featuring Sandro Perri. The track was recorded for Mexican Summer’s ongoing digital singles series Looking Glass. Wilco’s Cruel Country is getting a wide physical release on January 20. It’ll be available in 2xLP and 2xCD formats via dBpm. (The album was initially released digitally and in as a double-disc for Record Store Day.) To celebrate the news, Wilco have also shared a music video for the song “A Lifetime to Find.” The clip sees the band members crossing paths with paranormal characters at the Elks Lodge in North Adams, Massachusetts.
