HipHopWired Featured Video CLOSE Source: Prince Williams / Getty Cardi B and JT of the City Girls were previously thought to be good associates at the very least but apparently, that isn’t the case. The Bronx star and the Miami rapper exchanged some harsh words about one another via Twitter and the Barbz, among others, are seemingly enjoying the mess. It isn’t known exactly why this beef started but from what we’ve gathered from Twitter , Cardi B may have thrown the first subliminal shot and JT returned fire after a second tweet went up. The tweets reading “Lapdog” and “Go Fetch” was cryptic until JT responded with, “Cardi you go fetch a real talent! We DM’ing why you come back here to put on a show for these KIDS?” Cardi, not known for pulling punches, fired back with a Quote Tweet to JT ...

Paramore Bring Back “Misery Business” for First Time Since Retiring Song

But I remember a time when we had a Myspace, and we were still a really small band. We were really small. And we hadn’t even put out this song and we started noticing that kids were calling themselves “Parawhores.” And, we were like, “Uggh, that’s weird!” But, I guess, what I’m trying to say is, it’s a word, and if you’re cool you won’t call a woman a whore because that’s bullshit. You know, we can all learn from ourselves, right? All right, but, just, for the record, 90 percent of you said “whore” tonight. That’s all I’m gonna say—I’m not gonna preach about it. I’m just gonna say thank you for being nostalgic about this because this is one of the coolest moments of our show, and it’s very nice to feel like there’s a reason to bring it back that’s positive.

Kanye West Plays James Blake Collaboration, Wears “White Lives Matter” Shirt at Paris Fashion Week Show

Kanye West is at Paris Fashion Week. First, he walked the runway for Balenciaga. He then presented his own Yzy Szn 9 fashion show. At the show, West wore a long-sleeve T-shirt with the phrase “WHITE LIVES MATTER” emblazoned on the back. On the front is an image of Pope John Paul II and the words “Seguiremos Tu Ejemplo,” which translate in English to “We Will Follow Your Example.” As Rolling Stone points out, “White Lives Matter” is categorized by the Anti-Defamation League as a “hate slogan” that’s been used by white supremacist groups including the Ku Klux Klan and the Aryan Renaissance Society. Yzy Szn 9 was streamed on YouTube. Naomi Campbell walked during the fashion show, which was, at a point, soundtracked by a new West collaboration with James Blake seemingly titled “Always.” In an ...
