Denzel Curry has delivered the extended edition of his latest album, MELT MY EYEZ SEE YOUR FUTURE. The double album clocks in at an hour and 15 minutes, with Volume 1 featuring the original recordings released in the album and Volume 2 featuring a version that hears him reimagine the record with Cold Blooded Soul Band, the 10-piece that Curry performed with for his appearances on NPR Tiny Desk Concert and The Tonight Show. San Francisco’s newest music festival, Portola, went down over the weekend, walloping the Bay Area with the sounds of electronic music greats. The fest, which is produced by Goldenvoice and took place on September 24th and 25th, attracted roughly 30,000 fans and featured an epic lineup. Flume, Fatboy Slim, Four Tet, Jamie xx, Kaytranada, Peggy Gou, Fred again.. and The Chemical Brothers threw down at the sun-kissed grounds of Pier 80, among others. Arctic Monkeys have shared a video for “Body Paint,” a new single from The Car. Directed by Brook Linder, the visual was filmed in London and Missouri. Check it out below. The album was written by Alex Turner and, once again, produced by James Ford. Arctic Monkeys recorded the LP at Butley Priory in Suffolk, RAK Studios in London, and La Frette in Paris.
