Timbaland & Swizz Beatz Settle Triller ‘Verzuz’ Payment Lawsuit

Timbaland and Swizz Beatz sued the video-sharing platform in August nearly a year and a half after the company acquired the series. According to Complex, the legendary producers struck a deal in March 2022 for $18 million. They were to be paid an additional $1 million every month for the subsequent 10 months. However, Triller allegedly failed to make those payments prompting the lawsuit demanding the full $28 million. The settlement was announced via press release. Lil Baby is the voice behind the new anthem for the 2022 FIFA World Cup. Pitchfork is delighted to announce the final wave of artists for the second edition of its London festival, taking place across the city from November 9 to 13. Kae Tempest, Danny L Harle, I. Sleater-Kinney Detail Dig Me Out Covers Album, Share Courtney Barnett’s “Words and Guitar”

Sleater-Kinney are celebrating the 25th anniversary of their third studio album Dig Me Out with the release of a new covers album: Dig Me In: A Dig Me Out Covers Album is due out October 21. A portion of the proceeds from the album will be donated to SMYRC, an LGBTQIA+ youth center based in Portland. Earlier this year, the band announced that Wilco, St. Vincent, Courtney Barnett, Low, the Linda Lindas, Jason Isbell and Amanda Shires, Tunde Adebimpe of TV on the Radio would each be covering songs from the 1997 album, and now, the group has shared the full tracklist. MorMor Announces Debut Album Semblance, Shares Video for New Song “Chasing Ghosts”

MorMor has revealed that his debut album is on the way. It’s titled Semblance and it’s out November 4. The Toronto artist has now shared the tracklist for the project, along with the music video for the single “Chasing Ghosts,” directed by Otto Tang.
