Weezer is carrying on its run of seasonal EPs with the release of SZNZ: Autumn. The project marks the third EP in the series, succeeding Spring and Summer. Each EP is intended to reflect a different era in the band’s metamorphic 30-year history. While Autumn is technically billed as an EP, the record runs the length of a fully-fledged album. Across a little over an hour, the project spans 21 songs divided into three separate seven-track discs. March’s Spring showcased the “easy-breezy” element of Weezer, while June’s Summer took on more of a “’90s alt-rock” sound, frontman Rivers Cuomo revealed in an interview with The New York Times. “Autumn is dance rock, which is not something we’ve traditionally been able to get away with,” Cuomo said, “It’s really hard to make it both dance and rock a...

Nicki Minaj and BLEU have joined forces for an official “Love In The Way” music video. The single, which dropped on Friday, hears the two artists bemoan how it hurts to love again in the aftermath of an intense relationship. Directed by Primo, the visual opens with Minaj wearing a pink peacock-esque bodysuit dropping bars while sitting atop a throne, true to the Queen of Rap title she’s earned over the years. BLEU joins in after Minaj’s opening verse, singing his part from a balcony situated between two futuristic buildings. “One minute you here and then you gone / Seem like your biggest fear to be alone,” Minaj raps. “I was givin’ you your space, I was runnin’ through your mind / But you runnin’ out of time this time.” Solo scenes of Minaj and BLEU are interspersed with picturesque cuts o...

Weezer are continuing their series of seasonally themed EPs with Sznz: Autumn, which is out now. Check out the follow-up to their Spring and Summer EPs below. The final installment is, naturally, set to arrive in time for winter. Weezer had been planning a six-night Broadway residency for this month, but canned it because not enough people wanted to go. “I just learned that our Broadway shows have been cancelled (due to low ticket sales and unbelievably high expenses),” Rivers Cuomo wrote on Discord. “I’m very sorry to be telling you this now after we’ve already invested so much time, thought, and emotion. Extra apologies to those of you who cleared schedules and made travel plans to be with us.” Content This content can also be viewed on the site it originates from.
For the first time since Kim Kardashian filed for divorce in February 2021, Kanye West will be sitting down with a major news network for an on-camera interview. Ye will appear on Good Morning America on Thursday (Sept. 22), and discuss co-parenting, politics, ongoing battles with Gap and adidas, Donda Academy, his social media use and more with ABC News Live Prime anchor Linsey Davis. In a teaser clip shared to Instagram on Wednesday (Sept. 21), Davis asks the multihyphenate if social media is more harmful or beneficial to him. “That’s one of my favorite questions of this interview,” Ye responds. “We could use a car to rush somebody to the hospital, or we could use a car and accidentally hit somebody while we’re rushing somebody to the hospital. It all in how we use it.” West has had a tu...
Usher re-created the cover of his single “You Make Me Wanna” amid the release of the album’s special 25th anniversary vinyl edition. The single’s visuals may be decades apart, but the ageless Usher looks virtually unchanged. The reiteration posted to Instagram on Tuesday (Sept. 20) captures him brooding in the same neon-green ensemble he donned in the 90s. Usher’s remake also follows the recreation of his 1997 album cover for My Way released last week. “LaFace Records and Legacy Recordings, the catalog division of Sony Music Entertainment (SME), are celebrating the 25th anniversary of global superstar Usher’s iconic album, My Way – the R&B masterpiece that rocketed him into the star-studded spotlight – with an expanded edition of the original album, newly reimagined vers...
