Watch St. Vincent Perform “Down” on Colbert

St. Vincent returned to The Late Show With Stephen Colbert last night after her recent residency with the house band Stay Human, where among other things, she performed Fleetwood Mac’s “Dreams.” This time, she performed “Down” with Louis Cato & The Late Show Band. Watch it happen below. St. Vincent’s sixth studio album, Daddy’s Home, was released last year. As well as “Down,” the album included the singles “Pay Your Way in Pain,” “The Melting of the Sun,” and “Daddy’s Home.” Last year, she also shared the soundtrack for The Nowhere Inn, her collaborative film with Carrie Brownstein. Michelle Branch was the guest on an upcoming episode of Tamron Hall Show. During her appearance, she performed a new song and sat down for an in-depth interview about her since-dropped domestic assault charges for slapping her husband Patrick Carney of the Black Keys, her upcoming album The Trouble With Fever, and motherhood. The full episode airs on Thursday (September 15), but a teaser clip shows Branch confirming that she slapped Carney before their fallout and divorce proceedings became public.  “I don’t condone violence,” Branch told Hall. “What went down was so unfortunate. Pharrell Launches New Creative Advocacy Agency, Mighty Dream

Pharrell has teamed up with Edelman to launch his newest creative advocacy agency, Mighty Dream. According to Adweek, the new venture stems from the artist’s 2021 Elephant in the Room panel and “will exclusively develop products and creative solutions that solve some of the societal challenges that have impacted marginalized communities,” joining forces with brands to execute these solutions.
