Nicki Minaj has sued a blogger and podcaster who goes by the name “Nosey Heaux,” TMZ reports and documents viewed by Pitchfork confirm. Nosey Heaux, whose real name is Marley Green, apparently released a video in which she called Minaj a “cokehead” who was “shoving all this cocaine up her nose.” The rapper is claiming that the clip is defamatory. According to the lawsuit, the video received 260 retweets and roughly 2,000 likes and also included “vile comments” about Minaj’s son. The lawsuit alleges that Nosey Heaux was acting under direction from an unnamed rival of Minaj, “mistakenly believing that she and [Minaj] are stars of equal stature,” in a “hopeless effort to advance her career” at Minaj’s expense. Minaj, who says she has never used cocaine, is seeking $75,000 in damages. When rea...

The Arizona native started in the industry by promoting his music in parking lots of popular concert venues but made his mainstream debut in the late 2010s. In 2019, the singer/songwriter teamed up with Alessia Cara for the multi-platinum single “Let Me Down Slowly,” which landed on the Billboard Hot 100. Earlier this year, Benjamin released his highly anticipated sophomore album, (Un)Commentary, which features introspective tracks like “Devil Doesn’t Bargain,” “Hill I Will Die On,” and “Hipocrite.” Benjamin is no stranger to vulnerability in his music and prefers to let his mental state dictate the type of songs he creates. The first track from his debut album,...
Mayyas hit the stage of the America’s Got Talent finals on Tuesday night (Sept. 13) for a performance that was nothing short of magical. The all-female Lebanese dance team began the number in a surprising formation created to look like one single dancer was wearing a giant gown made out of white feathers — only for the makeshift dress to come alive as the rest of the members revealed themselves beneath it, controlling each feather according to the movements of the lead dancer. Dressed in traditional gold belly-dancing ensembles and glittering face jewelry, the dancers then spread out across the stage in a new formation waving glowing orbs of light in their hands. Combined with the traditional Lebanese music and colorful backdrop of outer space, the result was mysterious, thrilling and awe-...
