Megan Thee Stallion Demands WMG Reveal Documents Regarding Traumazine Leak

On August 11, just hours before releasing her new album Traumazine, Megan Thee Stallion publicly addressed leaked music on her Twitter account. The leak included “[her] cover art, pieces of [her] track list and [her] even hearing a part of a song [she hasn’t] dropped yet,” as Megan put it in her tweet. She continued: “we ALL know who the only ppl who had access to all these PRIVATE links are.” The rapper ended the message saying that she “might as well…lol,” and released Traumazine at 12 a.m. Eastern the following day. Now, Megan’s attorneys are attempting to retrieve documents from Warner Music Group that could reveal who leaked Traumazine, as Billboard reports. Kenny Beats has announced that he’s got a new album on the way, his first solo project. It’s titled Louie and it’s out August 31 via XL. Neal Casal Fellowship Launched to Support Mental Health and Wellness in Music

A fellowship has been launched in Neal Casal’s honor to mark the third anniversary of the singer-songwriter’s death. Two nonprofits, the Neal Casal Music Foundation and Backline, are behind the Neal Casal Fellowship, which will allow a Neal Casal Fellow to work within Backline to help provide mental health and wellness resources to members of the music industry and their families. The paid role requires a weekly 10-hour commitment, and applications are open now.
