BTS Unveils Date and Venue for Concert In Busan
BTS will stage a spectacular coming-out party this October in Busan, details of which have finally been revealed. Jin, Suga, J-Hope, RM, Jimin, V, and Jungkook will perform Oct. 15 at Busan Ilgwang special stage in Gijang-gun, Busan, reads a statement shared on the fandom platform Weverse. The free concert, held under the banner of BTS <Yet To Come> in Busan, will be the first by the K-pop stars since the June announcement that its seven members would take a break from active band duties, and instead, its members would pursue solo projects. Chicago-based band Tenci have announced their sophomore album: A Swollen River, a Well Overflowing is out November 4 via Keeled Scales. Today, Tenci have released lead single “Two Cups,” along with a music video directed by John TerEick. The band has also revealed a string of fall tour dates. Find all that below. Jerry Allison, Drummer for Buddy Holly, Has Died at 82
Jerry Allison, drummer and a close collaborator of Buddy Holly, has died, as Rolling Stone reports. Holly’s official Facebook page publicly announced the news on Monday (August 22), with a statement reading, “[Allison] was a musician ahead of his time, and undoubtedly his energy, ideas and exceptional skill contributed to both The Crickets, and rock n’ roll itself, becoming such a success.” He was 82. Allison worked closely with Holly as a drummer and collaborator, first befriending the guitarist and songwriter as a teenager.
