Last night (July 27) during Dua Lipa’s concert at Toronto’s Scotiabank Arena, a series of unauthorized fireworks were set off on the venue floor, according to reports from Toronto network CityNews and Billboard. As a result, some fans reportedly sustained injuries as the fireworks shot into the audience at the crowded venue. The new song, “Never Sleep,” features Lil Baby and Travis Scott, and it was produced by Tay Keith and Grayson, with co-production from Mike Dean. Listen below. Demons Protected by Angels is “coming soon,” according to a press release. The full-length will mark Nav’s first solo studio album since May 2020’s Good Intentions. The Comet Is Coming have announced a new album, Hyper-Dimensional Extension Beam. The project will be released September 23 via Impulse!. Created during a four-day session at Peter Gabriel’s Real World Studios, it follows their 2019 companion releases Trust in the Lifeforce of the Deep Mystery and The Afterlife. The trio of Danalogue (aka synth player and producer Dan Leavers), Shabaka (saxophonist Shabaka Hutchings), and Betamax (drummer and producer Max Hallett) has introduced the record with a song called “Code.” Listen below. Aptly titled Nicki, the six-part docu is produced by Bron Studios and opens with a short clip of the young artist showing off her rap skills.
