Drake is honoring some of Canada’s most celebrated artists at October World Weekend, unveiling the “All Canadian North Stars” lineup. Set to take place on July 28 at History, his music club that opened last November, the lineup features the likes of Choclair, Jully Black, Kardinall Offishall, Maestro Fresh Wes, Keshia Chanté and more, along with Detroit natives Frank-N-Dank who are honorary Toronto natives as they spent time there in the early 2000s. “A celebration of the music that paved the way for all of us,” Drizzy wrote on Instagram. Blink and you may have missed it. Deathpact made quite a scene at this year’s Shambhala Music Festival, returning to the event that hosted the anonymous electronic music artist’s debut back in 2019. Despite the recurring phrase “We are Deathpact” frequently appearing in the artist’s branding, fans have long been under the impression that the project was operated by one artist.
