Marvel Drops ‘Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Prologue’ EP With Tems, Amaarae and Santa Fe Klan

Marvel has delivered the Black Panther: Wakanda Forever Prologue EP shortly after releasing the trailer of the highly-anticipated sequel at Comic-Con 2022. Clocking in at under 10 minutes, the three-track project is produced by Ludwig Göransson and features Tems‘ rendition of Bob Marley and the Wailers’ “No Woman No Cry”,” Amaarae’s “A Body, A Coffin” and Santa Fe Klan’s “Soy.” The composer called the EP “an aural first glimpse of Wakanda Forever” in a statement, adding: “The sound world for the film began with extended trips to Mexico and Nigeria. Girls’ Generation Announce Release Date for New Album Forever 1

SM Entertainment has announced the title and release date of Girls’ Generation’s comeback record: The new album, Forever 1, is out digitally on August 5, with a physical release set to follow on August 8. The release marks the 15th anniversary of the K-pop group’s debut single “Into the New World.” Forever 1 follows Holiday Night, which came out in August 2017. Amaarae and Tems Share New Songs From Black Panther: Wakanda Forever EP

Black Panther: Wakanda Forever, the Marvel film that recently got its first trailer, is out November 11. Today, the three-song Wakanda Forever Prologue EP was released by the Disney Music Group. It features Tems’ cover of Bob Marley’s “No Woman No Cry,” plus Amaarae’s “A Body, A Coffin” and “Soy” from Santa Fe Klan. The three songs are produced by the film’s composer Ludwig Göransson. Rauw Alejandro has shared the video for his new song “Lokera,” featuring Lyanno and Brray. The trio spend the clip engaging in various debauchery with bikini-clad women at a house party until it gets broken up by police. Check out the Marlon Peña and el Zorro-directed video below. Pulp Reuniting for Shows in 2023, Jarvis Cocker Says

Pulp will reunite for a series of concerts in 2023, Jarvis Cocker confirmed during a Guardian-hosted live Q&A today. He responded to a question about a recent Instagram post, which quoted “This Is Hardcore” in a “deliberately cryptic” way. “Next year Pulp are going to play some concerts,” he said. Further details are currently unknown, but next year also marks the 25th anniversary of the band’s 1998 album This Is Hardcore. The shows would be Pulp’s first since 2012. Cocker is currently promoting his new memoir Good Pop, Bad Pop. He recently provided music for Wes Anderson’s The French Dispatch. From the tailgate to the rave, Apple Music is providing the soundtrack after launching “YeeDM,” a new radio series merging EDM and country music. Yes, it’s okay to cringe at the name. According to a press release shared with EDM.com, “YeeDM” will deliver an exclusive mix of music spotlighting collaborations between country and EDM artists.
