Warner Bros Pictures’ Wonka is officially set to make its streaming debut on Max on Friday, March 8.The movie-musical stars Timothée Chalamet as the titular character based on Roald Dahl’s Charlie & the Chocolate Factory, and follows a young and poor Willy Wonka as he bets on his own dreams to open his own chocolate shop. The TV series adaptation of Harry Potter is currently scheduled to make its Max premiere in 2026.Variety reports that the announcement was made by Warner Bros. Vice will officially cease publishing content on their website, Vice.com, and will be laying off "several hundred" staffers next week as part of its restructuring.CEO Bruce Dixon confirmed the news to a memo sent to Vice employees on Thursday, February 22, stating that "it is no longer cost-effective" for the company to publish their digital content in the same manner they have been doing so. The company is looking to "fully transition to a studio model" and will team up with other major media companies in order "to distribute our digital content, including news, on their global platforms," as well  as prioritize their "social channels as we accelerate our discussions with partners to take our content to where it will be viewed most broadly."In addition to the discontinuation of Vice.com, ...

The much-anticipated release of the John Wick spin-off Ballerina starring Ana de Armas has officially been delayed another year. Much to audiences' dismay, the film will now be releasing in Summer 2025 instead. According to Deadline, filmmaker Chad Stahelski has inked a new deal with Lionsgate that now allows him to oversee the entire franchise.
