Ahead of Eddie Murphy and Jerry Bruckheimer's release of Beverly Hills Cop: Axel F -- the fourth installment of the franchise, plans for developing the fifth film are apparently in the works. The original film firs released 40 years ago, and later became a major hit, spawning three other follow-ups. At the recent premiere of the fourth film, Bruckheimer recalled the film's first industry screening to Variety, "It didn't go well. A lot of times at industry screenings they don’t laugh. The second season of Netflix's BEEF anthology series may star Oscar Isaac and Carey Mulligan in the leading roles.Sources tell Deadline that the two actors are currently in negotiations to lead the upcoming second season, and could join Charles Melton and Cailee Spaeny in the cast. While nothing else is confirmed as of the moment, reports claim that season two will focus on two feuding couples. Netflix is reviving one of MTV’s hit shows from the early-aughts. The streamer will be offering a fresh take on the car makeover series Pimp My Ride with Resurrected Rides.The original Pimp My Ride ran for six seasons between 2004 and 2007 and spawned several spinoffs, including a series dedicated to solely pickup trucks.
