Alec Baldwin has been charged for a second time in the fatal shooting on the set of the film Rust. In 2021, Baldwin was rehearsing with a prop revolver when a live round was discharged, killing cinematographer Halyna Hutchins.In January 2023, it was announced that Baldwin and the film’s armorer, Hannah Gutierrez-Reed, would each be charged with involuntary manslaughter. The actor pleaded not guilty and in April, the charges against him were dropped. Gutierrez-Reed also pled not guilty and will be heading to trial in February.
