Park Chan-wook and Lionsgate Television are developing an English-language TV adaptation of the filmmaker's revered film, Oldboy.The South Korean director is set to produce the series alongside his producing partner Syd Lim, while Courtney Mock and Tara Joshi will oversee the project for Lionsgate Television. Quentin Tarantino is no longer moving forward The Movie Critic as his 10th and final film. Deadline was the first to report that the acclaimed director has "simply changed his mind." Sources told the publication that for Tarantino is not looking to rewrite the script or revive the project and that he plans to make his final film a completely new project.Previously, the timeline for the film was pushed back due to another rewrite of the film. Leonardo DiCaprio will reportedly portray Frank Sinatra in a biopic helmed by Martin Scorsese.Sources tell Variety that the filmmaker is planning to shoot his film about Jesus and the Sinatra biopic back-to-back, with the former scheduled to begin production later this year with filming locations in Israel, Italy and Egypt. DiCaprio is rumored to star alongside Jennifer Lawrence who will play actress and Sinatra's second wife, Ava Gardner.Variety adds that Sinatra's daughter, Tina, is the one in control of the late artist's estate and is yet to "[give] her blessing to the film." Keanu Reeves is rumored to be joining the cast of Sonic the Hedgehog 3.Sources tell The Hollywood Reporter that the actor will use his voice to bring the character Shadow to life. Created by Jim Carrey's Dr. Robotnik, Shadow mimics many of Sonic's features and can also match his speed and skill. The character made his first appearance in 2001's Sonic Adventure 2, and has appeared in many projects under the franchise since then.The upcoming video game movie will see James Marsden, Ben Schwartz, Tika Sumpter, Colleen O'Shaughnessey, Lee Majdoub and Idris Elba reprise their roles from the previous films. Christopher Nolan’s Interstellar is returning to theaters in celebration of its 10th anniversary.Variety reports that the sci-fi epic will hit cinemas again on September 27 and will be shown in the filmmaker's preferred format of 70mm IMAX prints, as well as on digital screens. Co-producer Warner Bros. will team up with Paramount for the return of the film.Set in a dystopian future, Interstellar stars Matthew McConaughey, Anne Hathaway, Jessica Chastain and Matt Damon as astronauts who enter a wormhole to find a new place for mankind to settle. Over two years after the end of its first season, James Gunn's Peacemaker is officially making a return. The DC Studios co-chairman and co-CEO has taken to Instagram to share a selfie of himself in the reflection of Peacemaker's signature helmet to announce that the show upcoming season is finally in production. Captioning the Instagram post, "Day 1 S2," and including a mermaid emoji, it seems that Gunn is giving a nod to the fans of the show since in the first season Vigilant, played by Freddie Stroma revealed that it was his favorite emoji. The space franchise is constantly growing – it counts 13 movies and the original Star Trek TV show has quite literally been renamed Star Trek: The Original Series to differentiate it from all its spin-offs.The latest addition to the Star Trek saga, however, arrives in the form of a film.
