Disney’s Live-Action ‘The Mandalorian & Grogu’ Film To Premiere in 2026

Disney's upcoming live-action Star Wars film, The Mandalorian & Grogu, as well other offerings such as Toy Story 5 and the live-action Moana are all set to hit theaters in 2026.According to Variety, The Mandalorian spinoff film will open on May 22, 2026 and Toy Story 5 — the followup to 2019's fourth installment — will premiere on June 19, 2026. Margot Robbie and Olivia Wilde are teaming up with X-Men producer Simon Kinberg to adapt a film for oone of the comic book characters created by Deadpool co-creator Rob Liefeld. The adaptation of "Avengelyne" is slated to see Robbie's company LuckyChap and her partners Tom Ackerley and Josie McNamara attached to produce the film.Alongside LuckyChap, Kinberg has been tapped to also produce the film. In the past, he was known to write and produce the X-Men films. Wilde has been credited for Don't Worry Darling and Booksmart. So far, details on the project are quite scarce.
