About a year ago, it was reported that Star Wars films helmed by director Patty Jenkins and Kevin Feige have been halted. Jenkin's Rogue Squadron was initially delayed from 2021 to 2022 and later fully removed from Disney's 2023 schedule. Now, it appears that the Wonder Woman filmmaker is back on the project. A24 has joined forces with IMAX for a monthly screening of some of its fan-favorite films. The series will enlist over 300 IMAX theaters across the US to deliver the immersive, high-resolution experience.Kicking off on Wednesday, March 27, the inaugural film will be Alex Garland’s 2015 sci-fi flick Ex Machina.A film from A24’s catalog will be shown on a select Wednesday each month for a year after.
